Food Bank Support Volunteer

Oromocto Food Bank supports individuals and families across Oromocto and surrounding communities within a 70km radius through food distribution, school lunch programs, and additional essential services such as clothing support. Volunteers are at the core of daily operations and play a key role in ensuring the community is served consistently and efficiently. Opportunities include sorting and organizing food, stocking shelves, packing food hampers, supporting garden initiatives, assisting with tours, and contributing to board committees. Volunteers receive training and are encouraged to commit to a regular schedule, making this a strong opportunity for individuals looking to make a consistent and meaningful impact on food security in their community.
